Buss, helped build the courts in Martinsville and Paragon as well as pitching in their leagues. Buss also pitched in the Bloomington and travel leagues. Buss was awarded Mr. Horseshoe in 1975. He is also a member of the 100 point club. Buss a long time supporter of horseshoe can still be found at local tournaments encouraging pitches, keeping score and promoting the sport he loves.
