Ed was inducted for his pitching ability, dedication, work and promotion to the game of horseshoe since 1970. Ed pitched in the traveling league for 10 years. He sponsored local teams several years. Ed has traveled many miles for horseshoes pitching in several N.H.P.A. World Tournament and most Indiana tournaments. Many State Tournaments including the A.H.P.A. Pre-Flight State Championship in 1992 are to his credit. Ed was placed on the A.H.P.A. Board of Directors in 1991.
