MEMBERSHIP IN INDIANA


Sec. IN 1.1: 100% Membership in all local sanctioned leagues.

Sec. IN 1.2: AHPA of America, State of Indiana dues must be turned in to the state secretary no later than June 15th.

TOURNAMENT PLAY IN INDIANA


Sec. IN 7.2: At the conclusion of your tournament series, prepare the courts you played your final game on.

Sec. IN 7.3: All protests shall be made immediately as the occasion arises. Protests covering shoes or conditions of play can only be made before start of the game.

Sec. IN 7.4: Current games pitched, average, handicaps and class will be sent by the league secretary to all tournaments one week in advance.

Sec. IN 7.5: Results, scores and awards must be sent from each tournament to all league secretaries within 5 days.

Sec. IN 7.6: Post scores at all tournaments.

Sec. IN 7.9: Men pitchers 70 years and over or handicapped may declare to pitch a minimum of 30 feet. They will compete in their division according to their averages along with the 40 foot men pitchers. They must declare before May 1st of each year in writing to the AHPA State Secretary and remain at that distance for the remainder of the year.

Sec. IN 7.10: Anyone who in the past has been a Class A pitcher, (For the year with a minimum of 600 shoes pitched), but has dropped to a lower class, can declare to pitch in Class A if he or she desires. They must declare before May 1st of each year in writing to the AHPA state secretary and remain in Class A for the remainder of the year.

Sec. IN 9.1: Nominations for Mr. and Mrs. Horseshoe submitted by each club or any member to the Board of Directors no later than July 1. (6 Year membership required.)

Sec. IN 9.2: Cash awards eligibility.

150 Points-Perfect Game of 50 Consecutive Ringers...........$100.00

145 Points-For One 50 Shoe Game.....$ 50.00
140 Points-For One 50 Shoe Game.....$ 30.00
130 Points-For One 50 Shoe Game.....$ 15.00
125 Points-For One 50 Shoe Game.....$ 10.00
115 Points-For One 50 Shoe Game.....$ 5.00

These awards may only be won one (1) time during a pitching season.

Sec. IN 9.3: A pitcher may earn a patch for pitching their first "100" point actual game in league or tournament play. (This award may only be won one time. 100 point club members will be excluded from winning this award.)

One time patches may be earned for pitching an actual game of 125, 130, 135, 140, 145 and 150

Sec. IN 9.4: Point system for tournaments:

8 Points...Win Overall

6 Points...Show and win.

4 Points...Show and second place

1 Point...Show-up

Sec. IN 9.5: 100 point club patch (one time only): Must earn a 100 point season average or better by pitching 1000 shoes or more in league play, or 1250 shoes or more in AHPA sanctioned tournaments (All the above must be done in one season).

STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN INDIANA


Sec. IN 10:1: The highest actual score regardless of the pitchers class will be considered the Actual State Champion. Their score will remain in their home division.

Sec. IN 10.2: Adult individual events will consist of seven (7) games for the men and five (5) games for the women. All classes will compete.

Sec. IN 10.3: In the state championship adult individual tournament, each player is required to pay their score keeper 25 cents each game.
