Tenchi Masaki is a teenager with a lot of mishaps. He goes to school everyday, except in summer when he trains with his grandfather which mainly consists of chores and learning differant sword techniques. I can't really say if he like any of the female characters, it looks like he likes Princess Ayeka the best, wich dissapoints me just a little bit, because Ryoko is the coolest. I can't really say more about Tenchi because doing so would spoil the story for you.. believe me.. (expecially if you haven't seen the whole OVA yet..)

Ryoko a.k.a the demon a.k.a the space pirate. MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER!!. The first to meet Tenchi.He releases her from her prison cave in the first episode, She has been in love with Tenchi ever since he was just a little boy although he has absolutely no idea at that time ..hehe.. which is to be expected; he was just a child.. To him she was just a legend told by his grandfather.." A demon sleep there"-in the Masaki Shrine.. Tenchi's "ancestor"..heheh.. Yosho was the warrior who first sealed her there 700 years ago.
Tenchi accidently free her from her prison in the 1st episode. (watch the OVA..I don't want to spoil it for you..)
She kinda likes all the characters accept Princess Ayeka, whom she don't really hate but she don't really like either... Always fighting with AEKA over Tenchi's love.. And if you ask me..I think she should win..But of course we're all entitled to our own opinion...:)

The 1st crowned princess of Jurai, the daughter of Misaki and the Juraian Emperor Azusa. Age about 20 years old. She came to earth searching for her half-brother Yosho, and fell in love with Tenchi (expecially after she found out that Yosho's already old..heheh) while she was living on earth, causing a serious rivalry between her and Ryoko. Like all Juraian noble, she also has special abilities. She owns a 2nd generation Juraian Ship, or Ryu-oh.
She came to earth in search of Yosho, but was brought out of stasis when Ryoko(the space pirate a.k.a the demon)'s life signs were detected. Thought Yosho was dead, because of the legend of the Masaki temple. Found out when Kagato arrived that Tenchi's Grandpa is her lost brother Yosho to whom she was to be married when she was old enough and from then onward she wants Tenchi to like her, and does whatever it takes to do so. She whine,complain and argue with Ryoko a lot expecially over Tenchi's effection. Although she can be kind, and friendly, and generous (as I believe she really is) she most of the time is not(or doesn't show it).

2nd crowned prince of Jurai, also Misaki and Azusa's child, 8 yrs old. Very cute. She is Aeka's younger sister and she is also the savior of the Masaki household. She can do any house-related jobs better than anyone in the household (other than Washu of course) and without her the Masaki familiy is most likely going to starve.In someways she is the strongest person in the Masaki family and the most relaxed.
Like's Tenchi, but just as a friend. During Ryoko's attack on Jurai she was almost killed but she became assimilated with Tsunami instead. When she grows up, she and Tsunami will be the same being. The one who always cook for the household. Inseparable with Ryo-Ohki. She is friendly, kind and helpful.
