Episode 1 : Ryoko Resurrected
Tenchi Masaki is spending the summer with his grandfather,Katsuhiko
Masaki, at his family shrine (the Masaki Shrine).
He is training in ancient sword routine, passed on to him by his
grandfather. Tenchi becomes determined to get into the cave,
where an ancient demon is said to have been trapped by Tenchi's
ancestor,Yosho. Upon entering the cave ( after stealing the key - although
to me it looked like his grandfather purposely gave him the key),
Tenchi finds the legendary sword of Yosho, as well as the mummified
demon! Tenchi runs in fear of his own life as the mummy comes to life.
"I'm gonna do as many chores as grandpa tells me!"
When Tenchi returns to school, he still has the sword hilt that he
found, not having told his grandfather about the incident.
Eventually, he encounters a demon named Ryoko, who claims to be that
demon from the cave. Ryoko blows off some steam by chasing Tenchi
throughout the deserted school, blowing up or slicing through everything
in her way. Anyway, the legendary sword protects Tenchi from Ryoko.
After a brief battle, Ryoko admits defeat and disappeared into the
ground. Upon returning to his house, Tenchi finds Ryoko sleeping in
his bed! Aaaaaaaaaa!!!!
Episode 2 : Here Comes Ayeka!
Not far from the earth, Ryo-Oh,a spaceship, approaches. On board is
Ayeka, the princess of Jurai. She is in search of her half brother,
Yosho, who is also supposed to be her future husband.
"Here on Earth, you may think it strange to marry one's brother,
but on Jurai, it's not." Yosho left Jurai in pursuit of an evil space
pirate named Ryoko. After several hundred years of searching the
galaxy, Ryo-Oh detected Ryoko's ship, Ryo-Ohki. If they found Ryoko,
one must assume that Yosho... Meanwhile, Ryoko awakes in Tenchi's room.
She tries to seduce Tenchi into returning the power gems embedded in
the sword's hilt to her. They are the source of her powers.
"Now, I'd like your balls, please!"
"Nuh-huh! They're mine! I'm keeping them"
"Not those balls! The jewels in your sword, numbskull!"
Tenchi returns one jewel to Ryoko, so they can escape from the alleged
evil princess that is approaching in her ship.
By using the power gem, Ryoko summons Ryo-Ohki, her spaceship, and
escapes with Tenchi. In the process, Ryoko shrinks Tenchi's house
(and father), and takes it with them. After a brief chase, Ryo-Ohki
is captured, and her occupants abducted aboard Ryo-Oh.
When Tenchi awakes, he finds himself trapped in a cell inside Ryo-Oh.
Sasami, Ayeka's little sister, releases Tenchi and promises to return
him and his house if he can steal Ayeka's head ornament (which is the
key to Ryo-Oh). "Will you play a game with me?" While attempting to
steal the head ornament in her sleep, Tenchi sees that Ayeka is holding
the sword, which is also named Tenchi (just coencidence? I don't think so..)
The sword also acts as a master key to most or all Jurian organic
machines. Anyway, Ayeka wakes up and has her guardians persue and
kill Tenchi. "My, he certainly does run fast!" To sum up the rest of
the episode, Tenchi finds Ryoko and releases her with the sword,
which also acts as a key (unknowingly, of course).
"That sword... It sould only respond to those of Jurian royal blood..."
They escape and return to Ryo-Ohki. In turn, Ryoko sends the ships
plunging earthward, eventually landing on and destroying the Seito
Bridge. In the end, the ships crash in the lake next to the Masaki
shrine, and Tenchi's house is placed on its shore. The two ships are
totally destroyed and it looks as though Ayeka, Sasami, and Ryoko are
going to be staying with Tenchi for a while...
Episode 3 :Ryo-Ohki!
Ayeka is dreaming of her home planet, Jurai, and about her brother,
Yosho. She remembers giving him a flower called a 'Royal Teardrop'.
"Ayeka, this flower should not be used for happy occasions." Ryoko
comes and begins destroying the planet. Yosho pursues Ryoko, never
to be seen again. She awakes holding the sword, her only reminder
of him... The episode begins one week after the previous episode.
Ryoko walks out on the lake (yes, on the water), and finds an
egg in the wreckage of the ships. When the egg hatches, a small,
bunny-like creature emerges. It behaves and sounds like a cat,
though. "Can a spaceship really have a baby?" "Sure. My ship was
totally destroyed, so it reproduced itself!"
Later, Ayeka finds Tenchi practicing his sword routine with his
Grandfather. While observing from the bushes, Ayeka falls and twists
her ankle. She tries to inquire about the sword routine which is
suspiciously like Yosho's. Katsuhiko tells his grandson to carry
Ayeka home without responding to her query. On the way home, It
begins to rain. Tenchi stops at a wood shed to dry off and warm up.
Ayeka does all of the warming up as she apologises for her bahavior
and misconception of his relationship with Ryoko. Further down the
path, the couple visit the Holy Masaki Tree [?]. Ayeka finds that
the tree is actually the remnants of Funahu, Yosho's ship.
Using the Master Key, She and Tenchi watch a recreation of
Yosho's battle with Ryoko, projected from the ship's memory. She
realizes that if Funahu is still alive, Yosho must be alive, also.
Also, Ayeka found a Royal Teardrop while out walking. Yosho
must be here... somewhere.
Episode 4 :Mihoshi Falls To The Land Of The Stars
Somewhere in the vicinity of the Solar system, a huge battleship, the
Soja, lumbers toward Earth. A patrol fleet from the Galaxy Police
attacks the ship with no avail. The Soja glides past the UTTERLY
defeated patrol fleet. Meanwhile, Tenchi & Co. are visiting a hot
spring resort. (To knoe more ..watch the OVA... this sysnopsis will be continued
..its just that i'm too busy right now to finish it...).
