Rose Hill Cemetery
Macon, Georgia

Rose Hill Cemetery's terraced grounds sit alongside the Ocmulgee River, affording visitors both an impressive view within the cemetery itself, and when gazing outwards. The cemetery was founded in 1839, and the trains which rumble past along the riverside on the tracks just yards from the graves, help transport visitors back to the century of the cemetery's birth.
