When Oakland Cemetery sold all of its limited plots in the late 1800s, Westview was created for the overflow. Despite, its orginal auxilary role, Westview is an intriguing cemetery with none of the claustrophobic feeling of its predecessor. A journey through its winding lanes will disclose many unique monuments and a surprisingly ornate mausoleum.
