On this page I hope to talk about the wonderful Newfoundland dog and of course, show off our newest pup. She is our third Newf. Our first two, Zoey, a dainty little girl and Zach, a large male, have passed and we were without a Newf in our lives for several years. Mean time we had rescued two retired racing Greyhounds - also wonderful dogs - who passed some time ago, within 3 months of each other. Our hearts were always with the Newfs and we just couldn't go any longer without a Newf in our lives, so we are now owned by a gorgeous little girl. As I write this (1/2/04)we wait for her to come to us, some time next week. She was born on November 19th, and is a Brown & White beauty. She is Kayla's Maid of the Mist, lovingly called Misty.
