-Riviera (Motoryacht) 46' -
- 1964 -
Two iterations of the Riviera 46 Motoryacht were produced: 1964; and, 1968-69. The latter was a significantly beamier and heavier vessel; and was offered in both a double stateroom (RAA-46 and RAP-46) and single stateroom (RAB-46 and RAQ-46) variations. Hull form changes - notably, CC added 11 degrees of deadrise (measured at the transom) to the 1968/9 versions thus giving the new Riviera MY far greater wave-cutting capability. Of course, this also added to the wetted surface area, and thus lowered its fuel economy. Want to go fast when the waves get rough? Pay up.
