When OLTL baddie Mitch wanted to pass off Natalie as her sister, Jessica, Nat's flame-hued tresses were dyed blonde. Rather that stick actress Melissa Archer under a wig, her do' was colored in real life. On the day that her hair was supposed to be returned to its former shade of red, Archer explained that she had never gone blonde before. "I didn't think I ever would, either. It took awhile to get used to, but once I did, it was pretty cool. I missed my red, but once you're used to something, you're like 'This isn't bad.' I think I'm going to be shocked when I go back to red today." Would Archer consider sticking with the light locks? "I don't think so. There are a lot of blondes in the world. It's so typical for an actress to be blonde, so I thought, you know, I don't want to be blonde."
