LASER The famous Laser weapon which alone can make this series stand out. This starndard upgrade weapon from the original p-shot started all the way back from the beginning of the series. It fires a long line of Laser, piercing through ANYTHING(almost) in its way!! If you move your ship up or down, the Laser will follow and so gliding the beam. This is known as the mighty Vic Viper's trademark weapon!! Upgrade the Laser to level 2, and the beam's length will increase, piercing through even more baddies!!

DOUBLE This is yet another standard upgrade to your assult weapon since the beginning of the series, the Double. It basically adds a firing pod on your ship at a 45 degree angle. Upgrade this sucker to level 2, and you will add a useful tail gun that fires from the rare end of the Vic Viper.

MISSLE The standard Missle, also started way back from the beginning since the original Gradius. I fires Missles from the bottom of the Vic Viper and moves along the landscape until it hits a target or a wall. It is very strong against ground pods. Upgrade Missle to level 2, and it will become tougher, pirecing through almost any ground units!!
