| Heaven's Tiny Prince On the smallest cloud in Heaven right at the Father's feet Sits Heavens tiny prince so beautiful and sweet His name is Jonathan Tayler, He's beautiful and fair And even thought I cant see him, I know he playing there Taken before we knew him, gone before his birth A heart so pure a soul so true, to precious for this Earth When I found I lost him, I cried and ask "but why?" How can I change it Lord,? Anything I'll try! But Jesus in his wisdom looked down from up above And then he smiled at Jonathan crying tears of love I know the pain your feeling, I know your hearts dispair I know you'd do anything to bring him back down there Remember that I lost a son so beautiful and true And just as I couldnt change his fate theres nothing you can do Then Jesus kissed Jonathan on his cheek and stroked his soft blonde hair And put him on his shoulder and started the rocking chair I know just waht he needs my child, I know you cannot see But I make this promise to you, his mommy, Jonathan is safe with me He'll never struggle for breath of air, or feel pain you can't relieve And never will a day go by that I dont hold him close to me Jonathan is my gift to you, his name means "Gift of God" But I couldnt bear to part with him for Heaven needs his love One day you'll understand my plan for him, and many things will make sense, But until then, Let not your heart be sad, for he's Heaven's Tiny Prince For Jonathan By Mommy Born into Heaven July 17 2002 |
