Important Parts

There are some basic parts that you will need in order to have a respectable racing vehicle.  These are outlined according to the
type of race you choose - Technical or Speed; Open; All Tamiya; or Fencecar.
 

Technical Racing                                                       Optional

1. Rollers - Preferably the 17 mm size for the rear or Mid.                                  1. Reston or sponge tires
2. Ball bearings - 9mm for the front.                                                                    2. FRP Mounts
3. Break set or Rear sliding damper break set.                                                    3. Front steering system
4. One way wheels in front.
5. Pneumatic tires in the rear.
6. Hex Ball bearing set or similar bearings.
7. Hollow propeler shafts.
8. Aero Wing Mount set or Adjustable wing set.
9. Weights
10. Short stab poles

Suggested Chassis Type: FM; SFM; TZ-X
 
 
 
 

For technical racing, stability is the paramount concern.  The more stable the car, the better it will stay on track.

1. Rollers - 19 mm size or 6 to 7 mm bearings for all sides.                                1. Locknut wheel set
2. Front break sets.                                                                                           2. Side Extension mounts
3. Skid rollers for the rear.                                                                                 3. Long stabilizing poles
4. Large Diameter Narrow wheels.
5. Hex Ball bearing set or similar bearings.
6. Hollow propeler shafts.
7. Lightweight Body.
8. FRP mounts.
