First and foremost, I'd like to thank you for taking this time on my little site, as this is my first website, I could really use some encouragement. I do also welcome any comments and suggestion on my artwork, your feedback are greatly appreciated to allow me to improve and do better.

This website is basically my portfolio collection from college work to my spare time work. Please do be aware that all artwork and images here are copyright to me unless otherwise stated, any use of my art without my knowledge or permission are highly illegal.

OK! to begin with, my name is Raymond Yap, the artist and the creator of this little website. I was born on 14th September 1979 (You should roughly know how old am I now :P ). I lived in Sabah, East Malaysia. I graduated in graphic design and classical animation from Lim Kok Wing Creative Technology. Now I'm planning to go for some 3D animation and web animation. And looking forward taking animation as a career in the future.

My hobbies include Drawing, painting (water color), cycling (road), netsurfing, downloading, modelmaking (Gundams), simulation game (mechwarrior 4, virtual-on, Rouge squadron 3D, Heavy Gear2), watching cartoons (anime & Disney), mecha cartoons (Marcross/Robotech, Gundam, Patlabour, Straship Trooper), science fiction movie, comedy movies, midnight snack, and being as helpful as I can.

For your information, I have been drawing as far as I can remember since young. To me drawing has always been a way of life as well as expression of myself in many way in my interest, dissatisfactions, dreams, and feelings. I draw a lot during my primary school days, mostly robots, even until now I still enjoy drawing them, prefer to called them 'mecha' now. As for furry art I only started drawing them a few years back. How it all started? Yup! inspired by many talented furry artist from the Internet, I really admire their work. When it comes to coloring, personally speaking, I really prefer painting with water color compare to any other media, kinda like a comfort zone, as most of my work are hand painted, only some of them with minor computer touch up. Illustration and design are mostly done during my college days, it is kinda like being force to excel in it whether like it or not, but of course in the end of the day do learn something out of it. Animation are too my college work, I personally like classical animation(paper & pencil), but I do also interested to try some 3D animation especially since I like to draw hardware stuff so much. So stay tune in the future that I may put some 3D animation in my site.
