Thoughts to Ponder ~ My feelings ~ ~ My growth ~ |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This is a page of what I feel and believe. You may not agree with them and I am not asking you to. These are strictly my feelings and I just wanted to share them. If you were to ask me about my thoughts on the hereafter and the afterlife before Noah died, I wouldn’t have much to say. I am Catholic and have my beliefs and faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. But when a child dies, your child, you need more; at least I did. After Noah died, I began a search. I was searching my heart and soul, and reading many, many books for answers to my many, many questions. I learned so much and throughout my search, I have a sense of peace with Noah’s death. Don’t get me wrong, I miss my baby boy more than you will ever know. But I know where he is, I know he is safe, and I know he is always with me. After all my soul searching, I believe in so much more. Not only was I looking for answers, but I found answers that I could accept. For instance, I believe that everyone here on earth is to teach or to learn. Noah taught. Boy, did he teach. He is the best teacher I have ever had. You are probably thinking, he was only two. But what Noah taught me is so great for a two year old. All our lives are predetermined. My father-in-law passed away on July 16, 2001; two months before Noah. I completely believe that Steve gave us the ultimate sacrifice. In my whole heart and soul, I believe that Steve knew about Noah's "soon-to-be" accident and went to Heaven first. Steve wouldn't want his grandson to be alone, so he went to greet Noah in Heaven. I know many of you think this is crazy, but this is what I believe. As I wrote in Noah's obituary, "Noah went to heaven to climb into the arms of his loving Papa". It gives me a sense of peace that Noah is with his Papa. When we would go to my in-laws, Noah would search the house for his Papa; not stopping until he found Steve. Even after Steve died, Noah would continue to do that. And when you would give Noah a picture of Steve, he would excitedly say, "Papa, Papa"; and show everyone in the house who his Papa is. When he would see Steve's truck, Noah would point and say, "Papa's uck, Papa's uck!" There was something about Noah and Steve's relationship. Something special. And now, I know why. They were meant to be together, not separated. I know my son is around me. I can feel him. There are some days where I cannot, but I also realize that there are many, many people that need Noah, too. On my very lost days, I say a prayer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to our Blessed Mother, Mary and I ask them for Noah to come to me. And this seems to help me when I need him the most. Even though we receive lots of signs from our loved ones, we need to be open minded about them and accept them as signs, not to deny them or find another reason why these “things” happened. All I can say is open your heart and soul and you will know. |

Whoever doesn’t believe in angels doesn’t believe in the Scriptures. Jesus himself spoke many times of angels. Why shouldn’t God have created angels, those great, invisible intelligences full of light? Are we going to doubt their existence simply because we can’t see them? - Dorothy Donnely “God and the Apple of His Eye” |

If our lives were utterly pure and filled with light and love, we would find no barrier between the dimension we live in and that of the angles. We would see them constantly. We would see the face of God unveiled, and it would consume and transform us totally and all around us. If we could only “Look!” - Eileen Elias Freeman “Touched by Angels” |

Limited as we are to our steadily aging bodies, we find it fascinating that angels can take any form that suits the message. A “classic” angel, with wings and all lighted up, perhaps with pale skin and eyes of blue flame, seems to be less often glimpsed than do angels in the guise of ordinary folks of all sorts—male or female, young or old, tall or short, any race, any dialect, any description. - Traci Mullins “Breakfast With the Angels” |

The angels are Divine messengers of light who offer us guidance… Our willingness to receive Divine guidance is what positions us at the right time and place for a message. If we make ourselves available to live in accordance with the Divine, then we will know in our hearts when an angelic message has been sent. - Terry Lynn Taylor “Angel Days” |

Angels help us understand why we are here on earth and to remember what our purpose is. They know our life purpose and remember what we want to accomplish. We humans can only see the smaller picture. - Barbara Mark and Trudy Griswold “The Angelspeake Storybook” |
