~Dirt Cake~

1 – (20 oz.) pkg. Cream filled chocolate sandwich cookies
(oreo or hydrox – that sort)
1 – (8 oz.) container of frozen nondairy whipped topping,
thawed (like coolwhip)
Ό - cup butter or margarine (softened)
1 – (8 oz.) pkg. Cream cheese (softened)
1 – cup of confectioners sugar
3 ½ cup of milk
2 – (4 serving size) pkg. Of instant French vanilla pudding
Clean flower pot(s) (I use the plastic kind that looks like terra
Cotta)
Plastic flower bush or plant for presentation (the silk kind that’s
washable)
Gummy worms (optional)

Crush the cookies in a large plastic bag using a rolling pin, or use a food processor to crush the cookies. Cream together the butter, cheese and sugar. In another bowl, cream together the milk, pudding mix and whipped topping. Combine the two mixtures; mix well. Fill flowerpot with alternating layers of crumbs and pudding mixture, beginning and ending with crumbs. Freeze or refrigerate. Before serving, insert a flower bush or plant in the middle. Place a few gummy worms on top for another effect.
