We chose the name Amaruq (am-AH-rook) as we raise and train German Shepherd Dogs and Siberian Huskies. These two breeds to us most resemble their distant cousin the Wolf.
Our German Shepherd Dogs are trained for various aspects of Search and Rescue or Recovery, obedience, agility and do some assistance type work in their spare time. The Huskies are trained as therapy dogs. They also are trained in obedience, agility and do some pulling for fun and exercise.
