Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:

Deuteronomy 6:4

Here are two views of Jesus:

One is that Jesus is God our Saviour and Lord,

King James Version of the Holy Scriptures says:

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

The other view is that when the Bible says firstborn some reason that means first created.

Like; Colossians 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Also, by  Jesus’ works on earth, he gained perks: 1,000yrs. reign as King, became a god, etc.

New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures says:

John 1:1“In the beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.

Which of these views fit the Bible?                            Let us compare verses in the Bible,

questions are who is Jehovah/Yahweh and is there not only one God?

Is there a God beside you Jehovah God?

Isaiah 44:6   Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his(Israel‘s) redeemer the LORD(Jehovah) of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside me [there is] no God. :8   Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared [it]? ye [are] even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, [there is] no God; I know not [any].     48:12 ... I [am] he; I [am] the first, I also [am] the last.  :  :16 ... now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.  :17   Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go. Psalm 90:1,2 ...even from everlasting to everlasting, thou [art] God.

Revelation 1:8   I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. :10  I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, ... :17   And when I saw him,(Jesus) I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me,

saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:  :18   I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

22:11to :13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

:16   I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star.

Was there “a god” that helped our Creator make all things?

Isaiah 44:24   Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I [am] the  LORD that maketh all [things]; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; ...            Revelation 4:8 ... Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. :11   Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things,  and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Colossians 1:16 For by him(Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  :17   And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without (Jesus)him was not any thing made that was made. :10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

:14   And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,

(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Genesis 1:1   In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. :2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: ...  (Notice the commutation)

Exodus 20:11   For [in] six days the LORD(Jehovah) made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day:

wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.  (Rev. 14:7,12)

Is not the Bible clear, there is just one God?

Isaiah 45:21   Tell ye, and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? [who] hath told it from that time? [have] not I the LORD? and [there is] no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; [there is] none beside me.  :22   Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.

:23   I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.  :24   Surely, shall [one] say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: [even] to him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.  :25   In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Philippians 2:5   Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  :6   Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:(John1:1)  :7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:(John1:14)  :8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  :9   Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  :10  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; :11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.             Isaiah 43:10   Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.    :11   I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour.

God loves you so much, is he your only Saviour and Lord?

1 Timothy  3:16   And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.      4:10   For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach,

because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

Titus 1:3   But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;  :4   To Titus, [mine] own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father

and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

2:13   Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  :14   Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify

unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.                                             Romans 5:8to12

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

:9   Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Will you bow the knee in love and worship  your  only Saviour and Redeemer God?

Note: Take a pie, it is in three pieces, each piece is pie, in or out of the pan. But it is one pie.

2 Samuel 23:1to3 ...God of Jacob, ... :2 The Spirit of the LORD(Jehovah/Yahweh) spake by me, and his word was in my tongue. :3 The God of Israel said the Rock of Israel spake to me,...(1 Corin. 10:4;  Rom.8:9)                  2 Corinthians 13:14  The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, ... love of God, and the  communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all.

They that formed a god or an image are they their own false witnesses?

Jeremiah 51:17   Every man is brutish by [his] knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image [is] falsehood,(lie) and [there is] no breath in them.

:18   They [are] vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

Isaiah 44:9   They that make a graven image [are] all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they [are] their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.  :10   Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image [that] is profitable for nothing?            8:16,20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.

Is the lie that there is “a god”  besides God, an old idea?

Genesis 3:4   And the serpent said unto the woman,(Eve) Ye shall not surely die:

:5   For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened,

and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Isaiah 44:17   And the residue thereof he maketh a god, [even] his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth [it], and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou [art] my god.

:18   They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; [and] their hearts, that they cannot understand.

I hope this study  helps you see?

Isaiah 9:6   For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:

and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called

Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

:7   Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.  10:20 ... but shall stay upon the LORD,(Jehovah/Yahweh) the Holy One of Israel, in truth.  :21  The remnant shall return, [even] the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.              Hab.1:12 [Art] thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? ... O mighty God, ... Mic.5:2

Matthew 1:20 ... conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. :21   And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.  :23   Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.  :25   And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Do you believe in God’s and Mary’s firstborn Son and God’s love for you?   John 3:16to18

Exodus 20:3   Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Matthew 2:2   Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.  :11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. 28:16   Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.  :17   And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.  :18   And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  :19   Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  :20   Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. (What is the name of the Father, Son, Spirit?)

Some “Christians” today don’t see who Jesus is and doubt to worship Him!    Please don’t doubt!  John 20:28   And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.   :29   Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed:

blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.     (Will you believe?)
