One Taken and Other Left

One taken and the other left, what does this mean? Does it mean one taken to be with Jesus or what? Let us look at these that are taken, do we want to be part of this group? Will Jesus’ coming be secret or bright, loud and you will see Him?

Matthew 24:24to28 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. :28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 2 Thessalonians 2:8 ... shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: Matthew 24:36 Jesus says “But of that day and hour knoweth no man,” ...

Notice the day of Jesus’ advent is secret, NOT HIM. Matthew 24:30,31 ... “see the Son of man”

But what about one taken and the other left?

Matthew 24:37to41 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. :41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Let us look at this again in Luke 17:30,34to37, taken where?

:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. :34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. :35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. :36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he(Jesus) said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Notice we know where the ones that are left are in the bed, grinding, and in the field.

Where is this place thither the eagles are?

Job 39:27to30 :27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? :30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.

Do you want to be taken where the eagles are? (Revelation 19:9to21)

When will the dividing or severing of people happen? (Daniel 2:44to47)

Matthew 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. :49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, :50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Caught Up

When are we caught up? We that believe that Jesus died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and rested in death all the sabbath. To raise again the

third day according to the scriptures: (Luke 23:46,50to56;24:1 this is basic gospel)

1 Corin. 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep,(John 11:11to14) but we shall all be changed, :52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. :53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

1Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. :15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. :16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. :18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (Job 14:10to15)

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: :21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Which group do you want to be part of: the taken or the caught up?

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: :32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: :33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. (Deut.33:2)

Which group do you want to be part of: sheep on His right hand, or goats on the left?

John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. :28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, :29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Which group do you want to be part of;

resurrection of life, or resurrection of damnation?

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; :14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Do you want to be part of the redeem of Jesus to be caught up to meet Him in the air?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
