TONGUES

Acts 1:19  ,2:1to8 ...the day of pentecost was fully come . They  were all  with

one  accord in one place. :4 And they were all filled with the Holy  Ghost. and

began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. :6 ... the

multitude came together, and  were confounded because that every man heard

them speak in his own language, :8 And how hear we every man in our own

tongue, wherein we were born?          Acts 2:37to41, 21:37to40

Why do we need the gift of other languages, tongues before the Judgement and Advent of Jesus?

Genesis 11:1to9 At one time the earth was one language. But they used this gift

for evil, so God  confounded their language, and scattered them.

Mark 16:15to18, Romans 10:13to17,  The promised gift of new

tongues was given to help take the gospel of peace, and glad tidings

of good things! So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by

the word of God.

So the gospel may go to new people who need to hear of what Jesus did for them in their own tongues.

Was the gift of  the Holy Ghost just for the Jewish Christians?

Acts 10:19,20,28,34,35,43,to48,11:1,15,24  The gift came to the

gentiles as on us at the beginning.   Acts 2:4,6,8  (1 Corin. 14:22 special signs)

word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.      ( Matthew 2:5to12)

What are there barbarians in Christian churches?

1 Corinthians 14:5to11, :9  So likewise ye, except ye utter by the

tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what

John 16:7,8,13,   1 Samuel 23:2,3,  Revelation 14:6,7,12;

Is Jesus the author of  confusion and disorder?

1 Corinthians 14:24to28to33, But if there be no interpreter let him

keep silence in the church;   ( Note people from different countries

and tongues would come.  They start asking questions during the service. The

believers in the assembly would start interpreting for them. It starts getting

noisy and confusing to others.)  :33 For God is not the author of

confusion, but of peace, as in all churches... :39 Wherefore,

brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
