The anime of Twin Signal was a 3 episode OAV series done by Sony. The story of the OAV in actuality is taken from many chapters of the manga, and sometimes not even in sequence. However it was put together in a manner that we didn't even notice until we got the manga.
Unfortunately, because of it's relative shortness, there was a lot of great stuff left out of the anime. Such as the multitude of robots actually in the series.
The manga series is still running today. We have 13 of them, but I believe it's up to 15 now :)
