Christmas Cards

Christmas Cards are finally finished for the year, and they should be out in the mail by tomorrow. If you do not receive a card from me by next week, I've lost your address, so please send it to me.
Support Our Troop's Families

Last week, I wrote "What Are We Fighting For?", which included an article written by a mother of a young Marine. She reminded us that the only way to send something to the troops, showing we care, is by going through America Supports You.

Another great idea to show your support is to adopt the family of someone in the military. By sending letters, gift baskets, offering a service, or just offering to listen, you can show you care.

Now, just because I care, does not mean that I support the war. I know that sounds hypocritical, but this is a hypocritical war. While I do not support the idea of violence, or invading a country under the pretext of a "war on terror", I do care about people. And people are leaving people behind and risking their lives because they believe it will make a difference.

So, no matter what your opinion is on the war, you can show you care, by supporting our troops and their families, and to pray for this hypocritcal war to come to an end. Support our troops to come home safely, and to come home soon.
