What Snack Food are You? brought to you by Quizilla
Sunday Brunch
MOODS
1. What is your mood right now?
Irritable
2. What is the most irritating thing you've had to deal with this past
week?
Besides job search frustrations, financial frustrations, frustration with my ex-husband, who disappeared again after our last court date, when he was told to start paying on the over $20,000 he owes me, the neighbors, idiot drivers, John's car, which needs repair while we still have pay the loan and the car insurance on it every month, the most frustrating thing this week was losing most of the food in the fridge despite trying to save everything in a cooler. Thankfully, we have a new fridge now.
3. What made you laugh this past week?

Kenzie. She is so cute and funny. She's almost constantly smiling and laughing. Also, family and friends with their cute jokes, and little quirks. Watching Everyone Loves Raymond always makes me laugh, too.
4. Who makes you laugh the most?
Kenzi, of course. She's my little angel. John used to be good at making me laugh most of the time, but he's been in a miserable mood lately. I have a hard time getting him to laugh lately.
5. Are you most often relaxed, bored, busy or stressed?
Always busy and stressed. If I'm not busy, I'm looking for things to do, usually end up doing several things at once, and my mind is constantly racing. I think I think too much. Yes, I'm headed for a burnout. Help!!! The last time I recall being truly relaxed was during vacation at Sharon and Warren's house almost a year ago.
I found another meme today on ThruThicknThin. It's called Saturday Senses:
You go to a job interview and they have you seated in a waiting room for over an hour. In this room there´s a watercooler, a coffee machine, some magazines, candies, crackers, 5 other candidates and the receptionist. It´s the end of the day, you´re tired, really hungry and you have a headache.
[taste]:: You´re so hungry you can actually hear your stomach. There are the crackers and the candies, the coffee machine and the watercooler. All this across the room and the place is really silent. You don´t know how longer you´ll have to wait. Do you prefer being very hungry with a headache or go grab some crackers and candies, maybe coffee and water?
In order to answer this questions, we need to back up a bit. When I was brought into the waiting room, was I told to help myself? If not, I would not make an assumption. If I really needed something, I would inquire with the receptionist if I could help myself to a glass of water. If so, I would take a few Advil.
[touch]:: Let´s say you decided to go for the crackers and candies, because you were really starving. How many do you grab? How much is just enough in a situation like this?
OK, let's assume I was invited to partake in the snacks. I would skip the crackers, because there is too much of a risk of getting cracker crumbs on my suit. I would look for a mint, just one, no need to be greedy, to get my blood sugar back up.
[sight]:: After an hour, you have already looked at all magazines from 1995, your eyes have scanned the room a hundred times and you´re having trouble keeping them open, being as tired as you are. All the other candidates are already gone. What do you do to to avoid falling asleep?
If the receptionist wasn't busy, I would make small talk with her(him). Maybe inquire if I could donate some magazines. Maybe ask if I could use the restroom, although, if everyone else is gone, I know that I will be next to be called in, so I wouldn't want to go too far away. If the receptionist was busy, I would just mentally prepare for the interview, while pretending I was interested in one of the old magazines.
[smell]:: You are finally called in to your interview. The interviwer hasn´t said a word yet and instead is looking at some papers, maybe your resume. You´re just sitting there and a secretary comes in, puts some papers on the desk, says something quick to the interviewer and leaves. The second she´s gone, you smell something funny and, boy, it stinks big time... It wasn´t you, but you´re sure the interviewer can smell it too and if it wasn´t him, he might be thinking it was you or the secretary. What to you do? Do you say anything?
lol! I would just ignore it, unless the interviewer brought it up, which isn't likely, and which case I would say, "yes, I noticed it too..."and wait to see what he/she says.
[hearing]:: The interviewer finally opens his mouth. This guy looks really scary and intimidating, but the second he starts talking, you feel an uncontrollable urge to laugh: he talks very faast fast and has a funny voice that contrasts with his physical ap apearence. You know you shouldn´t laugh, but you can´t help it and a giggle slips out. How do you handle this?
After regaining my composure, while praying he didn't hear me, I would go on like nothing happened. I hope, after all this, I still get the job!!!
