Wow! I can't believe it's March already...Where did February go? I'm wondering if March came in like a lamb or a lion? It's not stormy, so I suppose today is more "lamb-like", even though it is cold. Does that mean that March should go out like a lion, with a big storm....?

OK, so where did that lamb and lion theory come from? I guess I'll have to go and research that subject ..... ....... ...... Well, my initial research didn't find out anything, so if anyone knows, please share with me. :)

Monday will be John's and my second wedding anniversary. It's also the twelfth anniversary of us being together. It's ironic that we've stayed together so long considering our differences. Besides the obvious he's from Mars and I'm from Venus, he likes cold weather while I prefer hot weather, he would rather sit in front of a TV set, while I would rather read, he would prefer eating a diet of just steak, while I would be satisfied being a vegetarian, I prefer listening to more modern music like Dave Matthews, while he prefers David Lee Roth, and so on. So goes the saying that "opposites attract".

Fortunately, we have common bonds too. We both love euchre, computers, drive-ins, camping, (real camping, not the kind where you take a camper that is bigger than some people's homes, equipped with everything from a microwave to a VCR. What's the point in camping if you're going to have all of that?), we're both Buffalo Bill's fans, etc. Realistically, I guess if a relationship doesn't have enough differences, it would make for a very boring relationship.

Side note: I just realized that Monday morning at 3:03 a.m., the exact date and time will be 03-03-03-03:03. That won't happen again in my lifetime.

Last year, we drove to Tampa, Florida the last week of March to visit my sisters and their families. Due to limited finances and being short staffed where I work , we won't be going this year. :`(

Instead , I will be spending March 29th walking in the Rochester American Heart Walk. The walk is to raise money for heart disease and stroke research and education. This will be my fourth time walking with volunteers from our company. We have been fortunate that the weather has co-operated for us, and hopefully will be good this year too.

Well, I could ramble on endlessly, but I have other things to do....so I'll have to save it for another day...

Thanks for reading!
