As I indicated in yesterday's journal, I've been a little too busy to post as often as I would like. I was surprised at how many people were reading my journal. After not posting for over a week, several people asked me if I was ever going to post again. Although I'm posting two days in a row, I know I won't have time this week, until maybe Thanksgiving evening.

Yesterday, I majorly complained about the snow in upstate New York. In all honesty, we have had relatively mild winters up here several years in a row. This year I feel more upset about it than normal because my summer was ruined after my car accident. I wasn't up to doing as much yard work as I wanted to, going hiking or camping was out of the question, and I averaged at least one doctor's appointment a week. I startle easily now, so slippery sidewalks and slippery roads "freak me out". I guess I'm just wallowing in self-pity.

I'm taking this opportunity to catch up on posting pictures and rambling about things I intended to earlier in the month. Below is a picture of a Yankee Candle ceramic lighthouse tealight holder that John gave me for my birthday.

I turned the flash off the camera, so you could see what it looks like in the dark. Usually, men are stereotyped as not being good gift givers, but this was perfect for me. (I think I tranined him well!) I LOVE candles, I especially LOVE Yankee candles, and I LOVE lighthouses. One of these days I'll have to write about the first Christmas card and Easter card he gave me, though...

After Halloween, I intended on posting a picture of one of my co-workers, who increased the morale in our office by dressing up as a clown and passing out candy. This is Sally, who replaced me in accounting when I transferred to purchasing. She is inspiring, because even though she's been through a lot, she always makes time to treat us to something special at WNYCS.
Thank you, Sally!

On November 7th, I intended on posting a birthday greeting for one of my coworkers, Dave. He's a big Bill's fan and a very nice person, and I'm glad I work with him.
Happy Belated Birthday, Dave!

One of my friends, Sandy, has been asking me to post "ghost" pictures. Since we started using the digital camera, some of the pictures have little circles of light that don't appear to be reflecting off of anything. I've dismissed it as something to do with the digital camera. But, take a look at the pictures below. The picture on the left has green lights, which may be somehow reflecting from the car; the sun shining through the trees, of course; and a blue light on the second branch to the right of and just above the sun. If you zoom in on the blue light, you get the picture on the right. If you look close enough, you can make out an outline of two eyes, a nose and a mouth. Sorta errie, isn't it?

I hate to end this on an errie note, but it's late, the weekend went by too fast, and I still have things to do. Hope you have a good week!

If you're taking the time to read this, I welcome your feedback. Anything goes, from mispelled words to your opinions; just no porn or profanity!
Thanks for reading!

Take care!
