The theme of the day from is "Change of Season".

Inspiration: As autumn approaches in the northern hemisphere, and spring is just beginning in the southern hemisphere, take a look around you and show us what signifies the changing of the seasons to you.

Empty corn fields - Early sunsets

The end of summer is approaching, and the weather up here in Western New York, has actually been very nice. There's been an occasional shower here and there, but as long as you don't mind the chilly nights (in the 50's), it's been quiet pleasant. The days are sunny, with no humidity, making for a perfect day. The nights have been clear, allowing a perfect view of Mars, which is still up there in the southwest sky.

However, there is the warning of heavy winds and rain from what is left of Hurricane Isabel that could put a damper on the weather for Friday. Flash floods and wind gusts exceeding 50 mph are expected. It should be an interesting day.

Although I hate to see summer go, I have what appears to be a good season for the Buffalo Bills to look forward to, more time to write in this journal, and most importantly, MacKenzie's first Christmas. Can you believe Christmas is just over three months away?
Thanks for reading!
