itself from all forms of musical purism in their choice of timbres and
treatment of melodies, the group mixes arrangements of traditional compositions
with their own original works.
Ambaibo
uses Andean traditional instruments such as the Sikus (panpipes) and Kena
flutes supported by African and Andean drums blended with western instruments
such as electric and bass guitars, a music that is both uplifting and exotic is
yielded. Ambaibo‘s repertoire evokes sounds of the distant beats and passions
of ancient cultures blended with contemporary sounds and rhythms.
The music
of Ambaibo gracefully reflects the multicultural life of a city such as

Ambaibo was formed by a group of musicians
from various musical and cultural backgrounds interested in developing and
exploring new sounds, combining their experiences and influences in an attempt
not only to create a platform for multicultural and environmental exploration,
but also to have the opportunity to offer to their audiences the richness of

of music festivals and cultural events, such as Festival of Peace, Carnaval del
Pueblo, Thames Festival, Native Spirit Festival, among others expanding their
musical knowledge and exchanging experiences with other musicians from
