NuVet Plus I want to share an experience I recently had with one of my client's dogs, which I just groomed on 9/18/07.      If anyone has a dog, or knows of a dog that suffers from allergies, I just came across a product that works wonders!      It is a supplement called NuVet Plus (1-800--474-7044).      I groom dogs for a living, and 2 months ago a new client came to me, who has a poodle mix. This dog's hind feet were red raw and had no hair; he had dandruff and scratched constantly. His ears, were, well, disgusting; thick yellow ooze and smelled putrid. He was a horror to groom; as soon as the clippers touched his skin, he went ballistic. I ended up grooming him on the floor, with a muzzle on and a towel wrapped around his body and tucked under my leg to hold him some-what still. It was a nightmare.      Because I have a business phone number, I unfortunately, or fortunately in this case, get many solicitations via phone for dog pro-ducts, most of which I ignore. But this particular time, I actually had the sales rep. send me some samples, which I have been handing out to my clients. I gave the poodle's owner a sample, and told her from what I had heard about the product, it should help her dog. She also bought some of the ear powder I make up and went on her way.      Well, yesterday she returned for her 8 week apptmt., and I was floored!  Her dog had hair on his feet, and though they were still slightly swollen, they were normal color. His ears had no odor or discharge.  He "stood" on the grooming table and only gave me a hard time when grooming his face and one foot. I still put a muzzle on him, but for the most part, he acted like a normal dog. The dramatic difference in his feet, ears, and coat was phenomenal.  I actually had goose bumps! My gut tells me that he was in so much pain from his feet, and his ears were so itchy, that the vibration from the clipper on his skin sent him over the edge.      I usually do not promote products, but I have seen first hand what a miracle it has been for this dog.  His owner said she previously had taken him to Cornell Univ.for evaluation of his condition, and they told her that they could not help her dog. Unfortunately, he is a little older and has spent most of his life in misery.  I have several other clients using NuVet Plus, and I can't wait to see them and see how it helped them. I do have someone with a rescue Airedale that lives on Pred. I called them after they had used NuVet for 2 weeks and they said there was a big improvement.  I can't wait to see him.
