The Farseer Trilogy

One evening, a young boy of about 6 years old, (not even he is sure how old he is), is left at the back door of BuckKeep. It is said he is the bastard son of Prince Chivalry and as such, receives the protection of the King, and the Fool who thinks there is something special about Fitz...

Protecting the King and his friends becomes a full-time job for Fitz over the years, at the frequent cost of his own happiness, for he has a secret that could mean his life if his enemies discover it...

The Tawny Man

The Tawny Man picks up 15 years after the Farseer Trilogy left Fitz. After the harrowing experiences at the end of 'Assassin's Quest', Fitz and Nighteyes have wandered the length and breadth of the Six Duchies and are now living very quietly in a little cottage in the woods with only a young boy called Hap for company. One day, Fitz receives a visit from an old friend and finds that wheels have been set in motion that will spell the end of his quiet existence. Kettricken, and her son by Prince Verity are in trouble again and it is up to Fitz and the Fool to save the day.... again.
The last book in the second trilogy sews up some loose ends and introduces the Six Duchies to the possibility that dragons may one day rule the skies again.

The Liveship Traders

The Liveship Traders ply the Rain River which runs from the Six Duchies to the Cursed Shores. Their ships are the only ones that can safely pass up the river, which some think is cursed itself, because of the peculiar nature of the wood that they are made from. This trilogy follows the voyages of the Liveship Vivacia and her 'family'.

When Vivacia eventually 'quickens', fate sends her down a very different path to the one that her family would have chosen. Her fate is inextricably entwined with that of Paragon, another Liveship, Tintaglia, a Dragon, and Kennit, the self-styled King of the Pirate Isles. A strange secret that not even the Rain Wilders fully understand is about to come to light, and this is a secret that will change the world!
