The 'Wheel of Time' began with the publication of 'The Eye of the World' in 1990. Since then, Robert Jordan's epic series has been regarded as one of the most intricate and absorbing fantasy sagas ever.

The story revolves around three young men, Rand al'Thor, Matrim Cauthon and Perrin Aybara, who emerge from quiet lives in the isolated Two Rivers district to vanquish the Dark One, and shake the world on its very foundations.

However, the road to victory is far from clear. Hidden enemies lurk in every corner, ruthless men and women scheme to achieve their own ends, and the One Power, the awesome force which turns the Wheel of Time, can be used for terrible destruction, as well as wonderful good.
