My working on our genealogy and I have English, Irish, Scottish and more finding out doing my genealogy on my dad side. My mom was full Polish. Spoken Languages: English. Just some words I heard my mom say in Polish. Like “I love you” JA mi?o?? ty “Give me a kiss” Dawa? mi pewien ca?owa? si? Hobbies: Let me see are you ready. Doing manything kinds if crafts. Painting, Crocheting, making costumes for people and dolls. Making porcelain dolls. Collections: Real Dolls, Disney Plate, Disney Figurines, and more things Job’s: Full time mother, cook, cleaner and chauffeur. Before motherhood, I made computer in late 1970's. Made dresses for Shirley Temple dolls that sold in a store, work in a craft store, then last job was pouring porcelain in mold for making dolls for a 2 different doll shops. Favorite Soda: Tea and Coca Cola the real thing Favorite Food: Pastrami sandwich Favorite Sweet: Chocolate Favorite Actress: So many to say Favorite Actors: Same here so many to say but I will someday Favorite Movies: Gone With Wind, All Shirley Temple movie, All Disney Movies, All James Bond movie but the new ones I don't like the new actor they got, All Star Trek movie, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings (Fellowship, Two Tower and the Return of the King) I love Fantasy movies and good family movies. Favorite TV Shows: Ghose Hunter, Most Haunted, Ghost Whisperer, Lost, New Amsterdam, NCIS, CSI, Medium, and Doctor Who. Old show that were on before and watch reruns cause I still like them. Star Trek all the show over the years, Nanny {for fun} Star Gate SG1, SGA. Favorite Color: Rainbow. OK as Amberrose says be more specific. Lt. Pink, Lt. Yellow, Lt. Blue. Lt. Green, Lt. Orange, Lt. Purple Favorite Books: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Elf stones of Shannara and all Anne McCaffery’s books. Anything with Elves, Dragons and fantasy. Same books as Amberrose. She found my The Elf stones of Shannara and all Anne McCaffery’s books. I like to read movie books after I see the movie. I have done it the other way and was disappointed in the movie. Pets: We have a cute white poodle named Snow White. She is so smart. I can’t go anywhere with out her right next to me. She tries to sleep on my left shoulder when I’m making dolls. That is where she is right now. We also have a pretty black and white cat name Jasmine. She is also very smart. When you sneeze she mew at you to say “Bless you” and will do it till you say ‘Thank You’ to her. What I look like: I wear glasses. My eyes do change their color with my moods and colors I wear. From a light golden brown to green. This is the way the kids know that I mad. I have never look to see what color they are when I do get made but have been told they are green. My hair is blonde no gray that you’ll ever see. LOL. I’m heavy but trying to lose it but it very when your thyroid doesn’t work. :o( Been on pills for 18 years now. Countries Visited: Canada and Mexico States Visited: They are below California is where we live. Near the Happiest Place on Earth “DISNEYLAND”. It’s my favorite place to go and be a kid for a day. I love going with Amberrose now that she is older. We have so much fun when we are feeling good. I have CFS, which sometime make me very tried. In California where some of the places we like to go on vacations is Lake Tahoe, Sequoia National Forest, ------------------------------------------- With my Mom and Dad and sister Sandy Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming. Illinois: Chicago not sense I was a little girl of 10 years old mom and dad. Texas: not sense I was a little girl of 13 years old with my mom and dad. Oklahoma: not sense I was a little girl of 13 years old with my mom and dad. Louisa: not sense I was a little girl of 13 years old with my mom and dad. ------------------------------------------- After being married Hawaii: Mike and I on our honeymoon. Canada: Mike and I on our first vacation together. ------------------------------------------- These are the state Mike and I have been to with our kids Charlie and Amberrose. Nevada: Las Vegas and couple of time but walk around a little but most stayed in the pool in the hotel. Arizona: Drove through. Colorado: We went to Mesa Verde but did see much of the beautiful things there because it was on fire when we went so we had to get out fast. Colorado was a nice place but I wouldn’t want to be there long then a couple of days, it was so hard for me to breathe. Amberrose Charlie and I had asthma attacks New Mexico: We step out feet in it. LOL When we to Four Corners. Wyoming: Bighorn National Forest, Medicine Bow National Forest, Devils Tower National Monument it rain while we were there and people ran all over the place and I scream to everyone. “It’s just rain, your not going to melt” Oregon: On our way to Canada, Mount Hood National Forest Washington: Olympic National Forest Idaho: Boise National Forest Montana: South Dakota: Mount Rushmore, Black Hills forest seeing buffalo that scared Mike. He was driving. He always drives. Utah: Salt Lake we seen all the things to see there and then for fun did some of my genealogy for on hour while Mike visit a co-worker who moved there. Nebraska: Canada: With the kids to see how beautiful it is. Favorite Cartoons to Watch: the old one that I saw as a child that the kids think that are new. LOL |
| I love making these cartoon dolls. It is very relaxing and cheaper then my other hobbies. Which make my husband very happy, till he wants dinner. I have a huge doll collection that I started when I was 13. You might say even earlier then that because I have my dolls that I got from Santa when I was 4 years old. Then when I was 13 one of my aunts got me a Madame Alexander doll and that did it, I fell in love with those dolls then started collecting the around the world dolls. Back then they were only $8.00 a whole week allowance. Today you try and buy one of Madame Alexander dolls it like $75.00. Boy has times change. When I was young I wouldn’t let my mother give any of my dolls away. (Now remember back in the 1960 we didn’t have as much toys as kids get today.) So I was able to keep my 5 favorites dolls. They were Tiny Tears, Betsy McCall, Tammy and family, Barbie and Pebbles. I have collected many dolls over the years and when I met my husband to be Michael, I told him he would have to take my dolls and me. He did. Later I found out he had a big collection of comic book. So I think that is why Amberrose love making these cartoon doll. She has a little bit of both her dad (the comic) and me (the dolls) is why I think she enjoys making these dolls. The newest real dolls that are being collected in our house are by Amberrose, Charlie and me. They are the Lord of the Ring dolls and the kids want to make scene with them from the movie. In the 1970's and 80's Before I got married and had kids, I use to design and make costume for Shirley Temple dolls for antique stores and them later I made design and make Science Fiction costume for people. I would also some times wear costume to Science Fiction Convention and win awards for them. This is also how I met Michael. We met in July 1979 and were married May 10, 1980. A Mothers Day gift to our mothers. I also turn a lot of none believes A friend and I are also in the process of working on a web page on our Science Fiction Convention fun. It is a site for our friends to remember what we called the good old times. But mostly because some of our good friends have gone home early to be with the Lord. |
