Technical Support Resources
Data Projector and Laptop -- Students and instrcutors may check out a laptop and a LCD Projector to be used for classroom presentations. To reserve these items contact Todd Isaac in 217 Twente, or toddi@ku.edu. If you haven't used these items before, please arrange with Todd to get some basic instruction in their use. This takes about 10 minutes. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE...it might not be available, staff might not be available, etc.
Basic Writing Skills
Students who need assistance with basic writing skills should be directed to the KU Writing Center (Writers Roost) at 864-2399. The Center, located at 4017 Westcoe is available for group or individual help. There are aslo Rossts at Watson Library, Anschutz Library, and the Edwards Campus (if you live in KC). Licensing Video
The School of Social Welfare has a licensing preparation videotape available for you use. Students may schedule a time to watch the video in Twente Hall (takes 4 hours) or you may bring a blank tape to the clerical center and they will make a copy for you to take home. Please provide at least a day's lead time to make the copy.
Computer Labs
Labs are all over campus - even in Kansas City if you are located there! The School of SW has a small lap where you may also print in the Clerical Office.
