26 Weeks Pregnant (6 months)

Happy Holidays!

I realize it's been a while since I last took  photos. I have been very busy working several jobs so  I haven't gotten on it until just recently.

The baby and I are doing wonderful! He is extremely active and is quiet about 2 hours during the day and sleeps all night. Hopefully, that pattern will continue after he is born. He is very strong and his kicks are getting quite painful. My uterus is very thin and baby is big, so it is easy to feel him right through my belly. You can feel all of his body parts with just a slight pressure with your fingers. He is still doing flips, but prefers lying head-down or sideways right now.

I have gained only 10 lbs, though it looks like more. I'm very thin and you can't tell that I am pregnant from the back. If I wear a black shirt, I also look normal from the front :) I still fit into most of my clothes and my friend April gave me all of her old maternity clothing. I've got a great appetite and I'm still very active and get around as much as I always have. I have even taken on a part-time job managing a furniture store and I also did a photoshoot for an event benefitting the local Humane Society last weekend.

So far, no pregnancy symptoms. No nausea, stretchmarks, swelling, cravings (except for chocolate), food aversions, soreness, aches, etc. I don't even realize I'm pregnant until the baby kicks or I try to do something I no longer can. There are some things that I have trouble with now because I can't lift my legs. My belly is in the way. Putting on socks and pants and shaving my legs all seem hilariously impossible right now. My lifelong acne has disappeared which is a blessing.

Three more months to go!

18 weeks 4 days pregnant

Hello everyone!
I'm currently about 18 weeks pregnant. No stretchmarks in sight yet, maybe I'll get lucky. I have only gained about 2 lbs. I'm sort of glad about not seeing a doctor on that part, he would probably throw a fit. It's normal for a woman to have gained about 14 lbs by now, but I've got only my little 2. I'm active and eat extremely healthy, so I'm probably only gaining baby weight which is good. I do eat a lot, mostly vegetables and fruit with protein three times a day. I am LOVING food right now!
The baby is EXTREMELY active (and is in fact, kicking me right now in the belly button). Most women don't feel their babies by now, but a couple of others in my due date club have. Maybe because I have less fat than is normal padding my uterus, I can feel it more, but he sure is a kicker! Now and then, he (or she) pokes two feet or a head out one side and I'll have a little knob. The baby jumps when David sneezes.
I can still lay on my stomach, but it feels like laying on a cantaloupe. I'm not having discomfort of any kind and I feel perfectly normal. I can still fit into normal clothes, but only one pair of jeans fit anymore. I don't feel top-heavy or front-heavy.

Last night, I felt the baby's toes for the first time! *sniffle*
