Who can deny the delicate beauty of a fine piece of tatted lace?

Black Lace Edging tatted for my twin sister in the mid-1980's.  She had asked me to tat two yards.  Unfortunately I never completed more than six inches in a stretch before breaking the cotton.

Variegated Edging - this was my first attempt at tatting with a visual pattern. The original pattern is from a 1916 needlework magazine and can be found online at Vintage Tatting under the heading Basket Edge.

Partial Doily I started as a Christmas gift for my mother in the late 1990's.  After breaking the cotton I put it down until I learned how to attach new threads. It would be several years before I revitalized this project.

Valentine Hearts This ongoing series of hearts were made for my beloved.

Heart Exchange 2003 After years of organizing exchanges I finally participated in one!
