What My Friends Mean To Me!

I have learned through many of my friends just what
friendship means. It means going through rough times,
even crisis and knowing there is someone there who
will pray for me, love me, hold me and lift me up when
it seems like there is no end. They have given me
accountability. They have blessed me by just listening
to me. And one of my friends Susie has the best explanation
of how to be a good friend. It is like playing tennis and
your friend being the partner guides the tennis ball back
to you when you send it to them first.
That is how friendship works.

God has shown me that my friends are an extension of God’s
hands, arms, love, grace, and mercy. They help teach me and
guide me through life’s valleys and mountaintops. They listen
when no one else will. They love you unconditionally when
all else seems hopeless. They share joy, love, peace and
laughter as well as sadness and tears. Even when you disagree
and are upset with one another you can still call or email her
knowing that she will call me or email me back because she can
forgive and get past whatever is causing strife amongst us.

Kelli has taught me how to look deeper into things. That there
is something more than just the surface I am looking at. She
has passed to me the peace that God has given her as well as
her talent. She has also blessed me by sharing her knowledge
as well. Trusting me when she feels she can’t trust others has
taught her as well that there are good friends out here. That
is also one of the ways God uses to help us break down walls
that have built up over the years from our past whether it is
from childhood or our young adult or even our adulthood where
someone has betrayed us and hurt us very deeply. Susie has also
been such a great teacher and very patient with me in teaching
and guiding me through the learning process of building these
pages I have listed on the web. It has been a wealth of knowledge.

My mom is considered probably one of my closest friends because
she has always been there and guided me and prayed for me when
I didn’t even know it. She gives of herself when she doesn’t
have for herself. That is what a mom is all about but also what
a friend is about as well. Maybe that is how we learn to become
good friends because our mom’s set that example even when we
don't realize it. God is awesome in how he teaches us.

Then I have a couple more newfound friends from the web.
This has also been a blessing to me. I have come to love them
because they have genuine hearts as well. One of my new found
friends Christine, has a very special place in my heart. She
gives me joy knowing that God can stretch across the land to a
very far away place and touch 2 lives that give a special bond.
And Judy, Leslie and Franni what loving hearts you have. I praise God
for all of you. Out of all my friends that I have the one thing
they can and also do for me that is the most powerful gift they
can give and that is called PRAYER! So I just want to say
THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS!

May God Bless You and Your Family with all
His Goodness, Love, and Mercy.
A Friend Loves At All Times. Proverbs 17:17a
Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up each and every friend
I have and ask that you watch over them and place your
hedge of protection around them and bless them all abundantly.
In Jesus Name Amen.
