Kids Ministry

My husband and I are very lucky to go to a great
church called New Beginnings in Corona Califronia.
The church began in 1992 with 22 people and had grown
to over 800 people including the youth and children.

As people decide that they want to call NBCC their
church home, they are encouraged to take a series of
3 classes. The first class introduces them to the history
and beliefs of New Beginnings church. The 2nd class teaches
the believer the basics in spiritual education, such as
foundations of the Word, reading and memorization of scripture.
The 3rd class goes over spiritual gifts and talents and
helps the indiviual realize their place in the NBCC Home.
The church is the people who come togetherto minister to
one another and those around us. The main thing is to teach
the Bible and spread the good news, that Jesus is our Lord,
Jesus loves us and wants us to accept Him into our hearts
and have a relationship with Him. We are fed the Word and
then we feed others. Our children are the future of the church.

In 2001, NBCC 101 Class for the 5th & 6th Graders was started.
After months of preparation with the Children's Pastor Melody,
my husband Cliff and I and Kevin and Kelli Rhyme started teaching
a group of around 20 kids. It was very successful! Those kids
have moved up to the Jr High level and are doing well!

Starting in January 2001 we begin again. The 101 program runs
for approximately 18 weeks or so. The first class class will give
both parents and students an in-depth schedule of our program.
101 is a wonderful teaching on the Foundation of Christ giving
the Students a better insight and understanding of God. It has
been an overwhelming success, for all that have completed our
classes they have had wonderful things to say about what they
have learned Some of the lessons in our 101 series are on the
Bible, what is sin, salvation, faith, and prayer. These are just
some of the lessons the kids will be learning but they will last
a life time. This is the structure of their foundation of Christ.
