You are to email your campus choice to your instructor by the date given on your course Assignment Due page..
You may do your Field Base Experience hours on any campus of your choice if that campus is an accredited campus. The schools on the following list have worked with TJC education majors in the past and are familiar with our program. If you choose a campus that is not on the list, you must let Kay Lynn Moran know so that she may make contact with the campus adminisrator. Mrs. Moran is the chairman of the Education Department at TJC. You may do this by notifying your course instructor.
Make arrangements with the campus administrator. This is the principal or vice principal on that campus. They may refer you to another contact person. It is suggested that you make a courtesy call or visit to the campus office and explain what you need to do. If this is a new administrator who is not familiar with our program, they may contact Mrs. Moran at 903-510-XXXX.
Remember you are a guest on that campus and a representative of Tyler Junior College. When visiting the campus, you should dress professionally and act accordingly.
