GRADES ARE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING:
The procedure for averaging and value of grades is posted at the end of each course's Assignment Due Date page. All assignments are of equal value unless you are otherwise notified.

Participation/Attendance/Groups 20%
Written Assignments 30%
Portfolio 10%
Resource Notebook 10%
Internship 20%
Evaluations and final 10%
TOTAL 100 %
Up to eight (8) points per absence will be deducted from this portion of your grade. There are no excused or unexcused absences. All absences are given the same consideration. Onlne students are expected to contact the instructor a minimum of twice a week. Failure to do so will be considered an absence. All absences require a notice to the instructor.
FOR ALL COURSES:
Promptness is a measure of your professionalism. Points will be deducted when work is submitted after the due date. Justifcation for late assignments must accompany the late assignment.
If you are given permission (in writing from the instructor) for an extension for any reason, the assignment will be accepted, but points will be deducted for lack of professionalism.
