6674 South Island Highway
From Horseshoe Bay
Take B.C. Ferry to Departure Bay in Nanaimo (see home page for link to B.C. Ferries website which includes sailing schedules). Sailing time is 1 hr. 35 min.
Follow highway north through Nanaimo to Highway 19.
Continue north on Highway 19 to exit #101 which reads: Buckley Bay, Union Bay, Royston. You will also notice a sign which reads: Ferry to Denman Island & Hornby Island, next exit. Take exit #101 and follow exit ramp to stop sign. Turn right. Follow road to stoplight (Petrocan can station on northeast corner). Turn left. House is 1 km north on right hand side. Travel time from Nanaimo: approx. 50 min.
The Scenic Route from Nanaimo
After arriving in Nanaimo, follow the main highway north to the Parksville exit. Follow this exit which will lead you to Highway 19A. Continue north to Buckley Bay. House is 1 km past the Petrocan Station, on right hand side. Travel time: approx. 1 hr. 30 min.
From Victoria
Follow Highway 19 north to Nanaimo, then follow directions above.
