AMC's tenative plan is to only request one flight per month of it's members, however a pilot may be abscent during any month and not fly without penalty. However, the pilot will lose any voting rights with the company during any month which they bid abscent. Continual absences, if it is causing detrimental effects on the company, may be reason for termination from the roster. If this happens, the pilot my reapply if they so desire.
Our philosophy allows members who do not have a lot of time to dedicate to the airline to still participate. However, there is an advantage to flying more than one flight per month.
Our growth at AMC is strictly based on the activity of our pilots. The more hours flown by our pilots, the more "goodies" we get, such as new routes, new aircraft, new aircraft types, additional crew bases and so on. So, encourage your fellow pilots to rack up the hours so we can make this airline grow!
