| I believe that this is The Makers overall favorite game (and also the publics because it won game of the year when it came out). You are basically a scientist who does a huge experiment with an "Anonymous (not sure how to spell that) Material" (this is, ironically, the name of the first level) and the experiment goes wrong and Aliens get teleported to the "Black Mesa" <-- the name of the place where you work and it gets blown to pieces. You have to shoot your way out, but with the added complication that the Government has sent in grunts to wipe out everyone in the facility because they could be Aliens. A brilliant game. There are a few add ons to it where you can play a Grunt (Opposing Force) or a Security Guard (Blue Shift). |
