Amendment 22 (1951)

Translation: A person can only be elected President twice. No one who has acted as President for more than two years can run more than once. If this Amendment is approved while a Presidents third term is in process this Amendment will not interfere with his term. This Amendment must be passed in seven years b the states.

Personal meaning: People do not often think about this amendment, but it is a good thing that George Washington set this custom, or our government might never have progressed. I am glad that it only took once for America to realize that it was a good idea to set a two-term limit.
