Amendment 8 (1791)

Translation: No unreasonably high bail or fines depending on the case shall be sentenced, and cruel and unusual punishment shall not be inflicted.

Personal meaning: I have never had the need to look into the 8th Amendment, but if I ever get in to some serious trouble this amendment would come in handy. Every person has the right, as every other person and depending on the severity of the crime I think it is good that our government has to make bail fair. I feel punishment should never be cruel or unusual.
