BERLIN (AP)— VfL Bochum and goalkeeper Rein van Duijnhoven broke a 27-year-old Bundesliga record on Saturday and have now gone 744 minutes without conceding a home goal, the Web site Infostradasports.com reported Sunday.

The Dutch-based company, which specializes in sports statistics, said the old mark of 702 minutes held by Karlsruher SC from the 1966 season was broken during Bochum's 0-0 draw against Hansa Rostock.

Bochum has also kept a clean sheet in a record eight matches at Ruhrstadion. The last team to score there was Hertha Berlin's Andreas Neuendorf on Sept. 20.

Van Duijnhoven kept the streak alive Saturday when he saved a penalty kick in the 25th minute. Bochum is fourth in the standings.
