Why this site lacks poetry:
Purely by accident, I found a poem I had written years ago on someone else's website. It was credited to me only in that it had one of my long defunct email addresses with it. I had not been asked by this person for permission to use my poem.    I'm not afraid of someone profitting from my work; I don't care about money. What bothers me is the thought that my poems, which I put so much effort into producing, might be distributed without my consent, without my name on it.    It's no great loss to the world that they can't find my poems here, but it's disappointing to me personally.
