Senators/Expos Ink New Deal
The Montreal Expos and Harrisburg Senators announced a two-year Player Development Contract has been reached. The current contract expires following the 1998 season. The Senators and Expos first agreement was signed just before the commencement of the 1991 season and lasted four years. Since then, the two parties have been able to come to terms on three additional agreements, including this newest one, each being two years in length. Both sides expressed pleasure at being able to continue this successful relationship, and no doubt the fans are excited to have at least two more years of exceptional baseball talent at RiverSide Stadium.
