Competency-based Training & Learning Organization - Conflicting Philosophies -

This article is available at QuaSyLaTic Knowledgebase

This QuaSyLaTic received Competency-Based Training (CBT) in late 2002. The followings are presentations made to the class as part of the CBT requirements. Opportunities were seized to introduce to the class and the lecturers / facilitators the concepts of Learning Organization and how such concepts can be used to relook at the philosophy of CBT and our mental models or belief systems as trainers and also as framework to look at Learning in totality .

Suggestions are offered to these sincere position-leaders to help them breakout from the dilemma.

One of the key messages in CBT is that trainers only focus on competency, not attitudes or behavior of the learners. Implication of such idea is discussed in this slides.
