Adriana's mother, Adrianne Acles, 22 was booked on suspicion of Child abuse and murder. A Child protective Services worker had previously visited the home and found no cause to remove the baby.

Charged with second-degree murder is Marie Adams, 18, mother of the baby who gave birth to the 8 pound girl in the bathroom of her home, cut the umbilical cord and placed the baby in a plastic bag. Police said the bag was left in her bedroom closet for several hours while she sought medical treatment for profuse bleeding. An Autopsy indicated the baby was alive at birth. Authorities have said the baby died from strangulation, drowning or hemorrhaging.

Frozen To Death
Abandoned to die by 18 years old Maurice Smith, after he shot and ran over Venus Adams, the baby's mother and abandoned the baby. The baby's frozen body was found the next day. Smith has been charged with two counts of murder.
7 Years Old
Stabbed to Death
Police arrived at Pamela's home in response to a 911 call and were met at the door by her grandmother, Juana Lopez Fernandez, 73, who was covered in blood, "She said her granddaugher was in the home and she'd killed her and then stabbed herself." Police found Pamela's body in a bathroom and bloody hunting knife and butcher knife in the house. She had been stabbed several times. Fernandez, who was in serious condition after surgery, was placed under arrest for investigation of murder.

Charged with killing Christina is her mother's boyfriend, Ramon Lopez Torres, 24, who was babysitting for Christina while her mother was at work, Police suspect that Torres beat her because she vomited. If convicted he could recieve life in prision.
