This "Eye Spy Quilt" came into existence when I fell in love with the many charming and delightful novelty fobrics we have. This is a child's quilt that was created to enable children to play a traditional folk game. "I Spy.." and the name of something nearby. This has been translated to a quilt using the pictures in the fabrics rather then something nearby. These quilts can provide hours of fun with "I spy a cat or I spy a bug" at home or on long car trips.

TWIN quilts were made for Bob and Aum's motor home Christmas of 2004.
I had collected fabric with Route 66, Chicago, maps and old Chevy trucks
for three years. I had no pattern for the quilts but it came together
nicely because after I had bought the material they bought a 1948 Chevy
truck. Who knew!

 For Their Travels

This Quilt was made for Chris and Paula's wedding. I brought all of the squares (rail fence) to the reception and the guests signed them will well wishes and their name. For Christmas of 2004 it was assembled and quilted.
Augie made a wonderful oak quilt hanger and it was up on their wall before we left the house.
