Hi: My name is Clara, I ventured out on this journey thinking it would be quick and easy, WRONG! It has been a very emotional journey and one that has consumed much of my time, but I know all of my hard work is well worth it. I thought long and hard for something special I could do to share with the world the lives of two very special young people, and to keep their memory alive.


                                                    


ABOUT MY PAGE:


My sister (Martha) and I both lost our youngest children in November 1997, just nine days apart. My son was murdered by someone who felt empowered with a handgun. My niece died from a medical mis-diagnosis. Both of these tragedies could have been prevented, but God only knows why the lives of our young children were not spared.

We have asked ourselves over and over again, why this had to happen. I guess we will never know. I do know that no matter what we do, it will unfortunately never bring our children back to us.

I am dedicating my work to my son (Nicholas (Nik) D. Diaz) and my niece (Michelle M. Rosario). They were my inspiration and motivation to complete this journey and no matter how emotional it became I was determined to complete it.
